First and foremost, make sure that you have read the rules and are fully aware of how things are run around here. Remember, we hold the right to reject anyone we see fit but as long as you're a good writer and interested in having some fun, you shouldn't worry! Challenges are allowed but only 3 people per role -- MAX. Before applying for an override, ask the mod. If you have any questions or concerns don't be too shy to ask! Occupation: what are they famous for -- acting, singing, dancing? if they are in a band, please specify which one.
Journal Name: please DON'T link! NO numbers, x's (unless it relates to the character's name), and no underscores.
AIM Username: has to have the character's first or last name.

Welcome to ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) zoom! We trust that if you're reading this, you already have the basic know-how of how to conduct yourself in a community. Even though we all have probably read these kind of rules five hundred times, we'd like to set some guidelines so there is no confusion. Our main goal in this community is to have active, interested, and experienced members, dedicated mods, and most of all - have fun! We want people that will interact with those who aren't exactly in their social circle or "clique". Go out there and make a new friend. You'd be surprised to find that most members are just as shy as you are.
The IC/OOC rule applies in every community, as well as this one. Don't blur the lines. It makes things confusing! If there are any problems between one rper and another, make sure you don't bring that drama into the community by the means of your characters. If you have an issue with someone that is going to join, then talk to them OOC before hand and resolve it or just decide on your characters not interacting. Trust us, it saves a lot of time and energy!
The key here is be realistic with the character you've chosen to portray. For example, it is highly unlikely that Miley Cyrus will get married and pregnant any time soon. Or that Justin Timberlake will turn over a new leaf and become a monk. Knowing your characters and being able to portray them correctly is what sets good roleplayers aside from the rest. Slash is allowed to a certain degree, as well as pregnancy scares/storylines (please play out the FULL 9 months) and engagements/marriage (we ask that your characters have been involved for at least 5-7 months before announcing their engagement). As of now, you don't need the mods permission. Incest is not allowed by any means.
As for activity, all we ask is to sign your character on as much as possible, post in the subcommunities, and have your intro up within three days of being accepted into the community. If not, you are able to be overridden. The update limit is three weeks, but if you're active as we said, we can be a little lenient about it and give you a couple of extra days by posting a placeholder. If more time is needed, extensions will be available but please do not abuse them.
And last but not least, this is all fake and part of a roleplaying game. We are NOT the celebrities we claim to be!
